光明科学公园，位于深圳市光明区的核心区域，拥有208.2万平的广袤绿洲，宛如深圳北部中心的“绿色心脏”。未来，它将成为光明科学城国际化、高品质公共服务配套的重要组成部分，致力于打造世界一流、兼具科学性的综合公园。

在光明科学公园北翼的核心位置，科学顶以其独特的“宇宙飞盘”造型高悬于公园的制高点——柴山之巅，与矗立于湖畔的“宇宙飞船”科技馆交相辉映，成为公园乃至整个深圳科技精神的象征。

在设计过程中，充分考量了柴山的整体环境，旨在通过建筑与自然的深度对话，实现从自然到建筑、从建筑外部到内部的有机过渡。设计的着力点聚焦于空间塑造、光影变化以及材料的对话关系。建筑内部通透开阔，不设任何遮挡，仅以玻璃幕墙巧妙划分出科学阅览室和境咖啡空间。而建筑外部的天空之境则是一个无与伦比的环廊观景台，游客可在此360°全方位纵览光明中心区的城市风光，深刻感受城市与自然的和谐共生之美。

Guangming Science Park, located in the core area of Guangming District, Shenzhen, spans a vast green oasis of 2.082 million square meters, serving as the "green heart" of the city’s northern center. In the future, it will become a vital component of Guangming Science City’s internationalized, high-quality public service facilities, dedicated to establishing itself as a world-class, science-integrated comprehensive park.

At the heart of the park’s northern wing, the Science Canopy crowns Mount Chai’s summit—the park’s highest point—with its distinctive "cosmic disc" design. It mirrors the lakeside "spaceship"-shaped Science Pavilion, together symbolizing the spirit of innovation for the park and Shenzhen as a whole.

Throughout the design process, careful consideration was given to Mount Chai’s natural setting. The architecture aims to foster a profound dialogue with nature, creating a seamless transition from landscape to structure, and from exterior to interior spaces. The design focuses on spatial composition, interplay of light and shadow, and material textures. Inside, the building features an open, unobstructed layout. Glass curtain walls elegantly divide the space into a science reading room and the "Mirror Café." Outside, the "Sky Mirror"—an unparalleled circular viewing corridor—offers visitors 360° panoramic views of Guangming’s central urban landscape, allowing them to appreciate the harmony where city and nature coexist.
